MITA
Her artistic research moves through the borderland between word, image, and body, exploring the zones of friction and resonance where these languages bleed into one another. It's a path shaped by years of theater practice and writing, which has found its center of gravity in painting — not a final destination, but an open field where layered memories, inner landscapes, and the symbolic imagery of nature translate into visual mark-making. The project ANIMARBOREA pushes this tension further, taking the experimentation out of the studio and into the natural environment. Here, the biological vibrations of plants are captured and transduced into visual and sonic signs, creating an expressive system in which visual art, sound, and landscape don't simply sit side by side, but actively rewrite one another. The result is an immersive experience that questions the very boundaries of the artwork itself: between the organic and the constructed, between perception and representation, between what nature emits and what art is able to listen to.
