"I was born in 1978, July 4th. My approach to art was born through music, focusing on the study of the Drums. Over the years, however, I changed completely, studying singing and I still sing today. In 2009 I rediscovered painting and drawing, experimenting with different techniques. I initially approached photography to shoot the subjects that I would have painted but slowly I let myself be taken by letting photography almost totally replace painting. I approached photography circles, where I learned a lot and began to exhibit in collectives with my colleagues. Both for painting and photography I have always had a predisposition for portraiture and therefore I chose to perfect the techniques in that way. I participated in various seminars and masterclasses until I decided that I wanted to create my first personal project. The illumination came at a Caravaggio exhibition, immediately associating the studies on lights with the subjects that I saw painted by the master and thus identified the focus of my project that I will later call "CARAVAGGIO-Reloaded".
