Denisa Sufa is an Italian artist of Albanian origins. She was born in 2001 in Susa, a small town in the province of Turin where she lives and works. From her early years, clear signs of her predisposition towards art were noticeable. When her nursery school teachers suggested that she create a replica of "The Stairs Cross the Blue Sky in a Wheel of Fire" by Joan Mirò (1893-1983) as a creative project, Denisa categorically refused to use colored pencils, claiming that "the original was not drawn in pencil". She was the only child who was allowed to use tempera to complete her project. From that moment on, it became clear to everyone what her vocation was: making art. She therefore began her artistic training, graduated with top marks from the art high school and graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. At the age of 17, she won the Special Prize at the "La Barbera incontra" Festival in San Damiano d'Asti, selling her painting at auction to the owner of the renowned Piedmontese winery that produces the "Barbera d'Asti" wine. In 2022, she was selected for the "Maestri a Milano" International Art Award and will give a speech at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan on "human potential", exhibiting her painting "L'origine del mondo". From 18 to 20 November 2022, she will exhibit her work "Girasoli Appassiti" at the Meam, the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, Spain. In her art, Denisa Sufa constantly immerses herself in the search for the ultimate meaning of life. She breaks away from conventional social themes to create a world where nature reveals its mysteries through the symbolism of animals. His works, often animated by figures such as doves, embody an enigmatic quiet that invites the viewer to reflect on the union between the human and the divine. In it, there is a desire to reveal that mysterious essence that permeates the very fabric of existence, pushing the observer to explore the boundaries between the visible and the invisible.
