MARIO PERRON

Mario Perron was born in Legnano on August 10, 1957. He studied art at the Paolo Candiani Art School in Busto Arsizio, at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan; at the Masini Impruneta furnace he studied the art of modeling clay and had Professor L. Formica and Arch. A. Pensa as restoration teachers. In 2022 he wrote the manifesto “PONDERATISMO” with the architect Alberto Pensa. Among the numerous awards received, the International Award of the Academy of Lecce, the ParisExpo award and the Leonardo Da Vinci award stand out. He has exhibited in Milan, Paris, Miami, Venice, Shanghai, Dubai, both in group and solo exhibitions. One of his works is included in the official catalog “The state of art at the time of the 60th VENICE BIENNALE 2024” published by the magazine Arte. In 2025 he exhibited in Cagliari, at the Palazzo Comunale, a work from the Tessuti Connettivi series. Also in 2025, through Art Prize, he exhibited in New York a painting entitled “Le C.. che contano” part of the Pioneer series “mani forti” In Dubai, in the exhibition I Maestri, he exhibited a large painting (110x150 cm) entitled Tessuto Connettivo – Apertura. He received the Leonida Award from the Accademia Italiainarte nel mondo and the Salento Event of Contemporary Art – Alto Riconoscimento di Arti Visive Leonida. He still collaborates with the art critic and historian Giorgio Gregorio Grasso, with the architect A. Pensa with whom he shares a passion for art and poetry Donations In 1973 he created his first work: a life-size plaster cast sculpture, depicting two minimal figures in prayer, now installed at the Monumental Cemetery of Legnano. In 1995 he donated Otto Chiese a cielo Aperto (Eight Open-Air Churches), depicting the eight Churches of Legnano and the Contrade of the Sagra del Carroccio, in Impruneta clay then painted, auctioned in favor of cancer research. His paintings are found at: - The Museum of Modern Art dedicated to Margherita Hack - The headquarters of Pane Quotidiano Onlus in Milan - The Fineco headquarters in Milan - The Assicuraizioni Generali headquarters in Legnano - Various private collectors Established critics such as Vittorio Sgarbi, Giorgio Gregorio Grasso, R.C. Nugnez, Roberto Chiavarini have spoken and written about him.
