"Max Guarini was born in Bari in 1969, and it is in the capital of Puglia that he began his artistic career, making himself known to the general public thanks to his refined painting. His artistic talents are clear from childhood, he seems to have been born with a pencil in his hand, he often says he cannot remember a day in his life in which he has not had a pencil or a brush in his hand. The passion for oil painting then came to him by watching his older brother, also a painter, paint. In 2005 he moved to Ferrara, where he currently lives and paints. A self-taught painter, he cites beauty as the central theme that underlies all his pictorial works. Max Guarini often depicts women in his compositions, as he believes they are the most beautiful beings in the universe. His urban landscapes, the beloved "street", are also highly appreciated, where the metropolis becomes the place of identity and memory, the mirror of our emotions. In his latest works, thanks to the application of color essentially with a spatula, the material appears fragmented into many corpuscles, it is a changing matter, always poised towards new evolutions, towards new changes."
