ALESSIA CLEMENTI

Alessia Clementi, born in Soriano nel Cimino in 1966, lives and works in Soriano. Graduated from the Art School of Viterbo, she specialized as an illustrator at the IED in Rome. A multifaceted artist, she initially worked, from 1985 to 1991, as an advertising graphic designer at a well-known Roman company, completing numerous works for the Gucci atelier, Autostrade s.p.a., Agip Petroli and the Italian Red Cross. She also turns her attention to a type of work that combines artisanal woodworking and painting skills, creating furnishing objects and trompe l'oeil. In 2002 she came out into the open as a painter, with a personal exhibition in the former council chamber of the Municipality of Soriano nel Cimino that brought her to the attention of the public and critics. However, it was between 2006 and 2008 that his explosion as an artist took place with the participation and achievement of important recognitions both nationally and internationally.
