ANGELO ASARO
Angelo Asaro, an Italian artist based in London, combines his engineering background and international experience in a refined pictorial language. He experiments with a painting style that merges figurative realism and symbolism within rigorous compositional structures, giving rise to what he defines as Noetic Surrealism. His works explore themes such as identity, time, memory, and the fragility of existence, giving shape to existential questions that linger in the viewer’s mind as mysterious inner resonances. His artistic research has been recognized through several international awards and presented in prominent contemporary art contexts, including the Florence, London, and Milan Biennales. As part of the Venice Biennale, his work was presented through a critical synopsis at the Grenada Pavilion. Asaro was also included in the Atlas of Contemporary Art, presented at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
