Chiara Longo was born in Bra, in the province of Cuneo, in 2000 and currently lives in Florence. In 2019, she graduated in Figurative Arts from the Liceo Artistico of Alba, and in 2025 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Painting Methodologies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, achieving the highest marks with a thesis entitled: “Esplorare l’invisibile: tra arte e scienza”. During her artistic and educational journey, in 2019 she won the residency of the Regione Piemonte project “Laendemic Art” at Certosa di Pesio (Turin). In 2023, she participated in the exhibition “Anima Nostra” in collaboration with California State University and won the call “L’Annunciazione e le arti” promoted by Museo di San Marco (Florence). In 2024, she took part in the urban regeneration project “Il filo della storia” in Campiglia Marittima (Livorno) and participated in the “Sowing hope award” with a group exhibition titled “Seminare Speranza: Cen Long il cantore della luce” at Palazzo Isolani (Bologna). In the same year, she began a collaboration with the gallery Spazio LAC, participating in the group exhibition “Quattordici” and subsequently in the two-person exhibition “Essentia” in Figline Valdarno (Florence). Chiara Longo’s artistic research moves between figurative and abstract art. Without ever fearing experimentation, she continues to explore the techniques of the great masters, rediscovering the knowledge and the making of colours used by traditional workshop artisans. Interested in capturing and elaborating the universal value of personal and individual experiences, she incorporates and reinterprets natural elements from her territory and signs taken from everyday life in her works.
