Ornella Stefanetti lives and works in Omegna in the province of VB. Always passionate about visual arts, the artist opened up to painting several years ago, thanks to the meeting with the artist Gilberto Carpo of whom she soon became a student. After an initial period dedicated to the study of the classics, she began to express herself creatively by moving from still lifes to some local landscapes and female nudes. Lately the artist has approached abstract art, without this however meaning a total abandonment of the figurative: indeed it can be said that in her works the two pictorial languages meet to the point of merging without ever canceling each other out. Ornella's artistic path therefore evolves more and more on absolutely personal and autonomous paths, preferring the path of research and experimentation. some of her works were inspired by her travels in Australia She has held solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
