"I am Simona Carbone, artistically known as Blacksy. I have been painting and drawing since I can remember, starting as a self-taught artist since childhood. I always try to improve myself through courses and following artists from all over the world, and I attended an oil painting course for 10 years. I currently dedicate myself to abstract art, mainly using acrylics on canvas and textured materials. My distinctive style is in black and white and is characterized by the use of the arrow, a symbol that I created and that recurs in all my works. My works explore the theme of direction, represented by the arrow, which symbolizes life choices and the path that leads us to be what we are today."
