The composition revolves around the idea of a meeting between the concept of attachment and dissolution. It is an attempt to combine the 'external feeling', what is part of the environment outside of us, with the interior of our being. Trying to unite the human and emotional element of feeling with the detachment and concreteness of the natural world and the landscape. Dissolving into the outside to quiet the inside.
Aligning the egocentric human ideal of existence with that of the simple life of nature. The composition sets itself the task of making the boundary between skin and soil less and less visible, surrounding and covering everything with sand that protects and at the same time submerges it.
The terracotta sculpture lives and merges with it. Without friction.
