The work aims to be a reflection on the continuous condition of man's search for the Light. Light understood as knowledge of ourselves through nature and the world, but also the search for that spiritual and religious light that the human being has always chased since the beginning of his history. The contact with the light that comes from a place defined as dark and frightening, like a cave, reminds us that humanity also originally deviates from the chaos of the cosmos.
With an initial reference to the myth of Plato's Cave, the composition aims to observe how only by embracing and re-elaborating that "beam of light" coming from the darkest places of his interiority, man will perhaps be able to use and spread that light-knowledge outwards.
