 The civil war in Italy during the Second World War. I depicted a SKULL made up of human figures: Hitler, Vittorio Emanuele III, Pope Pius XII, Galeazzo Ciano and Edda Ciano, symbols of the collective tragedy, with historical protagonists and victims, while the partisan at the bottom represents resistance and hope. In the distance, Mussolini and Petacci head towards their destiny, closing a dark chapter of history.
